Getting Started
Launch the kiosk browser, connect to HQ, and verify the system basics before your first day live.
- Start the Pet Relations server and confirm the kiosk opens to the calendar.
- Check the HQ indicator in the top bar and verify it turns green.
- Create or confirm groomer accounts, weekly schedules, and the owner account in Settings.
- Review text message settings, Terms of Service, and remote-access QR pairing.
Daily Scheduling
Use the calendar, appointment overlays, and cancellation opportunities to keep the day full.
- Use the top toolbar to filter by groomer or customer.
- Open a day to view appointments, warnings, and create or edit bookings.
- Use Cancellation Opportunities to backfill empty slots and note groomer conflicts before calling.
- Complete appointments through checkout so completed groomer tracking stays accurate.
Messaging and Remote Access
Set up SMS, monitor message logs, and let staff work remotely when the salon PC is offline.
- Configure Twilio credentials in System Settings and test the notification sound.
- Capture customer SMS consent from the Customers page and confirm the welcome message sends.
- Open the top-bar messaging center to read and reply to customer texts.
- Generate the HQ remote-access QR and pair staff phones for appointment access away from the salon.
